Decatur, Ala. (December 27, 2021) – The Alabama Bass Trail (ABT) is pleased to announce Bajio Sunglasses has been named a presenting sponsor of the 2022 ABT Tournament Series and 100 Series.
“I recently read an article that was published on April 6, 2021, where Bajio Sunglasses CEO AL Perkinson was interviewed. One of the questions was ‘How high tech is your lens lab?’ His response was ‘Our technology is sophisticated but our techniques are old school.’ I like that because I feel like their ideology matches with the ABT’s principles perfectly. We are still somewhat new but we offer sophisticated technology for a regional tournament trail and our techniques are old school where every decision we make is done with the anglers, host cities and sponsors at the forefront. We are excited to be chosen by Bajio Sunglasses as one of their partnerships in the freshwater fishing industry,” said ABT Program Director Kay Donaldson.
Under the terms of the agreement, Bajio Sunglasses will have a booth at all ABT and ABT 100 series events in 2022. The Alabama Bass Trail will feature the company on all tournament related advertising, website, social media channels and collateral materials.
“Bajio Sunglasses is proud to announce our partnership with the Alabama Bass Trail. From the quality of the events to the caliber of the anglers, the Alabama Bass Trail represents the heart of the competitive spirit and camaraderie in the sport of bass fishing. Whether you take your fishing super seriously or are just looking to get out on the water and test your skills against some of the best anglers from across the United States, Bajio Sunglasses is there to support your efforts,” said Melinda Hays, bass community leader for Bajio Sunglasses.
